About the School

The Hallett Racing School is located at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit (HMRC), which is known as one of the most challenging, yet SAFEST racing courses in the country. With 80 feet of elevation change and blind corners, it has been said that if you can master HMRC... you can race anywhere. Driving students MUST be able operate manual shift vehicles. All students MUST complete Day 1 race school before allowed to take Day 2 race school. Day 2 race school cost is $1600, with 50% non-refundable deposit due at registration to hold spot and remainder due at check-in on event date.

Day 2 Race School Schedule (APPROXIMATE times listed):

• 8:30-9:00AM: Introductions, Classroom, Driver/Car setup (if needed)
• 9:00-12PM: Multiple open practice sessions, video reviews, and Q&A sessions (rotating)*, with focus on flag orientation and drills including race starts and wheel-to-wheel racing
• Noon-1PM: Lunch (provided)
• 1-4PM: Multiple open practice sessions, video reviews, and Q&A sessions (rotating)*, with focus on flag orientation and drills including race starts and wheel-to-wheel racing
• 4-4:30PM: Winners’ Circle photos
• 4:30PM: Class is dismissed!

*Practice start exercise at instructors’ discretion. Practice seat time is essential to racer development no matter what kind of car you're in!
